# Attendance

> Track daily student attendance across batches

## Taking Attendance

Go to **Attendance** and select the batch and date. Mark each student as:

| Status      | Meaning                                                    |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Present** | Student attended                                           |
| **Absent**  | Student did not attend                                     |
| **Late**    | Student arrived late (counts as present in % calculations) |
| **Leave**   | Approved leave (excluded from % calculations)              |

## Attendance Reports

View attendance % per student over any date range. Students below 75% are flagged on the dashboard.

## Lecture-linked Attendance

When a lecture is scheduled in the **Timetable**, attendance can be taken directly from the lecture. This links absences to specific subjects.

## Bulk Attendance

Mark all students present in one click, then unmark absent ones. Faster for large batches.

## Low Attendance Alerts

The dashboard **Attention Feed** shows all students with attendance below 75% over the last 30 days (minimum 5 classes to qualify).
