# Notifications

> Send announcements and alerts to students and parents

## Sending a Notification

Go to **Notifications → Send** and fill in:

* **Title** — short subject line
* **Message** — full notification text
* **Recipients** — all students, specific batch, or individual student/parent

Notifications are delivered as push notifications to the ShikshaOS mobile app.

## Notification Types

| Type               | Triggered by                                 |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------- |
| **Announcement**   | Admin manually sends to a batch or all       |
| **Fee reminder**   | Admin sends to students with pending balance |
| **Low attendance** | Automatic alert when student drops below 75% |
| **Test result**    | Automatic when marks are published           |

## Batch Notifications

Send to an entire batch at once — useful for:

* Test schedule announcements
* Holiday notices
* Fee due date reminders
* Result declarations

## Notification History

View all sent notifications under **Notifications → History** with delivery status.
