# Question Bank

> Manage a shared library of exam questions

## What is the Question Bank?

The Question Bank is a centralised library of exam questions organised by subject, topic, and difficulty. Questions are shared across your organisation and can be reused across tests and batches.

## Adding Questions

Go to **Question Bank → Add Question** and fill in:

* Subject
* Chapter / Topic
* Question text
* Options (for MCQ)
* Correct answer
* Difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard)
* Marks

## Question Types

| Type         | Description                             |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| MCQ          | Multiple choice with one correct answer |
| Multi-select | Multiple correct answers                |
| Short answer | Text-based response                     |
| Integer      | Numeric answer                          |

## Using Questions in Tests

When creating a test under **Exams**, you can:

1. **Pick from Question Bank** — search and select questions by subject and topic
2. **Auto-generate** — select number of questions per difficulty and let the system pick randomly

## Organising Questions

Filter and search by:

* Subject
* Chapter
* Difficulty
* Question type

Tag questions with custom labels for easy retrieval (e.g. "PYQ 2024", "Important", "NEET").

## Question Bank is Shared

The question bank is shared across all admins and teachers in your organisation. Questions added by any teacher are available to all.
