# Branches

> Managing multiple institute branches under one organisation

## How Branches Work

ShikshaOS supports a two-level hierarchy:

```
Organisation (e.g. "Trident Academy")
  └── Branch 1 (e.g. "Trident — Dadar")
  └── Branch 2 (e.g. "Trident — Andheri")
```

Each branch has its own students, batches, staff, and fee records. Data does not mix between branches.

## Org Admin Access

An **Org Admin** can switch between branches from the top navigation. All branch data is visible from the org admin account.

If your organisation has only one branch, you're taken directly to the dashboard on login.

## Adding a Branch

Contact ShikshaOS support to add a new branch to your organisation.
