# Teacher Overview

> Getting started as a teacher on ShikshaOS

## Logging In

Go to [shikshaos.com/login](https://shikshaos.com/login), select **Teacher**, and enter your **phone number** and password.

<Note>
  Teachers log in with their **phone number**, not email.
</Note>

## What Teachers Can Do

* View their own lecture schedule
* Take attendance for their batches
* Enter marks for tests they conduct
* View student attendance and performance

Teachers **cannot** see other teachers' data, student fees, or institute settings.

## Your Schedule

After logging in, you'll see your **Timetable** — lectures assigned to you, organised by day and batch.
